Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST: TEL2b ), which rose 0.19% or 0.25 points to trade at 132.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ) added 0.17% or 0.06 points to end at 35.64 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST: NDASE ) was down 0.15% or 0.20 points to 131.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedbank AB ser A (ST: SWEDa ), which fell 2.92% or 7.70 points to trade at 255.60 at the close. Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ) declined 2.92% or 23.40 points to end at 778.00 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) was down 2.69% or 1.10 points to 39.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 510 to 247 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.92% or 23.40 to 778.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.16% or 0.80 to $69.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.08% or 0.78 to hit $73.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 2.64 to trade at $3,051.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 10.81, while USD/SEK fell 0.05% to 10.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 104.03.
