Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate , Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX lost 4.76% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Exor NV (AS: EXOR ), which fell 1.18% or 0.90 points to trade at 75.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Adyen NV (AS: ADYEN ) fell 2.05% or 25.80 points to end at 1,233.80 and Heineken (AS: HEIN ) was down 2.15% or 1.58 points to 71.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Relx PLC (AS: REL ), which fell 8.63% or 3.88 points to trade at 41.08 at the close. Akzo Nobel NV (AS: AKZO ) declined 8.46% or 4.62 points to end at 50.00 and Randstad NV (AS: RAND ) was down 8.27% or 2.93 points to 32.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 88 to 17 and 5 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.98% or 1.23 to $60.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.92% or 1.26 to hit $64.32 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.31% or 39.64 to trade at $2,995.76 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.46% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.95% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 103.29.
