Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology , Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 1.73%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE: MANTA ), which rose 4.71% or 0.24 points to trade at 5.43 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE: TYRES ) added 3.56% or 0.22 points to end at 6.25 and Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ) was up 3.38% or 2.25 points to 68.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ), which fell 2.45% or 0.18 points to trade at 7.24 at the close. Kalmar Oyj (HE: KALMAR ) declined 1.43% or 0.38 points to end at 26.12 and Metso Oyj (HE: METSO ) was down 0.38% or 0.03 points to 7.96.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 166 to 20 and 3 ended unchanged.

Shares in Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.45% or 0.18 to 7.24. Shares in Metso Oyj (HE: METSO ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.38% or 0.03 to 7.96.

Brent oil for June delivery was up 0.28% or 0.18 to $64.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.87% or 0.53 to hit $61.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 39.20 to trade at $3,012.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was down 0.47% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.52% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 103.09.
